They are urging their members to contact their representatives to contact their Congressional Representatives in support of the Amendment. If we are going to defeat this discriminatory and outrageous law then I think that we should all follow their example and call our Congress-people and demand that they vote no.
I know that many people feel like this amendment is dead in the water, but if we let our guard down, or give the impression that it is not an issue that liberals care about, then the chances that it will pass are much, much greater.
